Yoshido are traditional Japanese summer screens designed to bring comfort and elegance to homes during the warmer months.  Made from finely woven bamboo, or reeds, tied tightly together. These screens allow cool summer breezes to flow through while also providing shade and maintaining privacy. Their natural beauty and rich texture create a calm feeling to any space in your home.

These screens are perfect to use as room dividers, or as a textural element to hide a crowded area in your home. This particular screen is framed in cypress with hand carved relief cutouts depicting old family crests of the Tokugawa period.

Each of the four panels are 18” wide x 52” tall. They are versatile and can be set-up to be used as a 4-panel or 3-panel divider. These are very lightweight and easy to position anywhere in your home.
